Buyer cancellation of order

A buyer cancelled an order today as they aren’t able to collect the item. I have cancelled this . I have not received payment for this but EBay has removed the balance on my account which related to another sale. I’m confused!

As a private seller, there are no fees. 

What does it say about deduction?

I accepted and subsequently cancelled an order today as the buyer decided he was unable to collect the item.

I had not received payment for the item but EBay seems to have removed the balance of my Ebay account. This amount was less than the item I was selling.

The balance on my account related to another item I had sold a week or so ago.

Best check ebay haven't sent your payout to your bank account

Just to confirm something for you.

If there is no money in the Available section  of your Payment Summary,  then eBay take the money from your back up source,  which is usually your bank account to make any refund.

Then, when this is completed any money from hold for the payout,  is released to you. 

Might save you a call to Customer Services.
