Buyer Protection

Since Buyer protection started my sales have dropped Dramatically.  eBay are killing Small Private Sellers and Driving away Buyers to other online sales. I think I will be dropping eBay and joining the other online market places.

EBay’s policies include the need for a business account when selling items bought to sell.  I suggest you check the policies for whoever you are going.

Business accounts don't have the fees added on, and get quicker payment's.

The addition of the BPF to items sold by private sellers is perhaps making buyers look more carefully at the account status of the seller, and making the buyer consider whether or not they should buy from businesses with private accounts.

The answer to this is in your hands.

Business accounts don't have BPF or payment holds and upgrading is simple.

Buyer Protection

So business sellers don't have the buyer protection added to their sales.
???

If I opened a business account what would be the fees.

As a small private seller account what would be the charges for me
to.become a business account.

Use the link to see the fees.

There are no Buyer Protection Fees on business sellers' items.

Do I need a business account?

If you plan to sell casually, such as selling items you no longer want, a private account is the best option.

If you want to sell large quantities, if you have items that you've made or bought to resell or if you already have a business outside of eBay, you’ll need to register a business account.
