Bought a iphone for my grand daughter

Hi bought a new iPhone pro max on the 31st, tried to contact seller twice, no proof of postage. I know my money is save. But you can not get sense out of pick a choice  and continue.  I don't want to wait another 7 days to open a request I want my money to buy another phone. Why are sellers allowed to get away with it

You purchased on Friday and today is Sunday, not sure what you expect.

If you only bought it on Friday it surely can't be past that yet?

Delivery was today, it seems he has posted a £700 item by standard delivery with no tracking. Won't answer messages.

If delivery was today it would have to be Special Delivery to get next day delivery and SD is  usually delivered by van so there is plenty of time left. If seller did not use Simple Delivery which would not be suitable, he probably does not know how to add tracking

However if not delivered today do not rush  into opening a not received case until at least Wednesday, as seller cannot control delivery, and you will just create unnecessary work for yourself if delivered as soon as you open a case.

You must be sensible about delivery times, bought on Friday, possibly not posted till Saturday, might have missed the Saturday collection,  and no one is working on a Sunday, and you expect delivery first thing Monday Morning.

Delivery was last Thursday, or Friday sorry I should have said, I reported it to ebay on Sunday, they said I had to wait till this Friday for a settlement.  The post he used was 48hr tracked.

So sorry delivery was supposed to be last Thurs or Friday, I reported it to ebay on Sunday I have to wait till Friday this week for outcome ,he used 48hr tracked postage

This timeframe would be correct. Sellers are given 3 business days to provide a tracking number showing delivery.

If you haven't received your order by then you can ask eBay to step in.

Even when you have opened and hopefully won an item not received case, your refund won't be immediate. Depending upon how you paid it should be around 7 to 14 days, but credit card refunds can be up to a month. The payment will br returned to your source of funding, e.g. bank or credit card account.
