Potential buyer getting ebay error notice when trying to place a bid stating 'There was a problem with an ebay internal system or process and to contact ebay developer support for assistance'.
Spoke with customer services last week as concerned it applied to all my other listings.
Customer services didn't call back as promised and now can't make contact with them again. I've been a seller for over 20 years and never experienced anything like it before. I appear to be getting very few sales of late but sometimes lots of watchers then nothing 🤔 I am wondering if folk can't bid for whatever reason. Help please??

It may just be this bidder has an issue with their account that is, maybe they have 2 unpaid item strikes on their account? Or, they could be a new member, who always have a limit to the number of bids they can place as they need to be established as a good payer before being able to place many bids.
You could try and place them on your ' exemption list' in your Site Preferences and see if that helps.
Other than, that they should contact eBay Customer Services as the issue most likely lies with their account.

Thank you
She did say she would contact cust support, but don't think she has at the moment, although cust support didn't know the answer when I spoke with them as weren't able to view her account without she requested it.

She has to contact CS herself but is she a new member?
New members do have a restricted number of bids they can place. Best to buy Buy it Now items, pay promptly, build up that good paying profile, then their bid number allowance will increase.

Hi there
She isn't a new member and has been both buyer and seller and has 100% feedback.
Ebay state they are still investigating but I've not sold anything since March so getting concerned now. Wish I knew the answer.
