Bicycle postage

There are hundreds of cycles on eBay but I cannot find a single option to post a cycle. No weight size costs etc. can anyone help? Please.

Re: Bicycle postage

You can opt of out ebay's Simple Delivery to choose your own postage.   See the solution on here:

Do you mean you have a cycle you want to sell and post?

Measure the box you will use to send it and get an approximate weight, then have a look on the Parcelforce website.

Or use google to find out couriers who would transport a bike.

I would sell a bike collection only.  It would limit your buyers but would save you having to pack and send it.

Re: Bicycle postage

Yes that’s is what I meant and planned but to opt out sounds like I cannot get eBay support if things go wrong so I hoped there would be a ‘protected’ option. Thank you

If you follow the workaround offered in the link offered by peaseblossom and follow exactly Rick's answer in that link,  you will be able to post your item correctly with Custom Postage.  Currently there is a technical issue to show Custom Postage for items such as yours,  which are exempt from Simple Delivery.

Re: Bicycle postage

I understand and respect the feedback; however, the words you’re using suggests that there is a familiar and app intellect required to even drift beyond the scope of what eBay provides. I’m an ordinary user - 20years and this is beyond me .
