Automatic relisting for 10-day auctions

Hi does anybody here know; Can I set my 10-day auction listings to automatically relist for seven days? Can I make this default and not have to do it individually? I ask because I set most of my listings to start on a Thursday for 10 days therefore to end on a Sunday. if they don't sell I would really like them to list again for seven days thus ending on the next Sunday. when looking at support pages all I see is literally a missing bullet point, one stating any specific rules for 10-day auctions, although 1-3 day auctions and 5-day auctions are mentioned.

No,aution listings will relist for exactly the same time period as the orginal, you would have to manually relist to change the duration.

'Keep in mind that the automatic relist option is only available on listings created by new and occasional sellers. The option will not show for other sellers.'

I recently found that live listings could be edited, fir example I thought I was editing an ended listing and changed from 10 days too 7 days, realised it was a live auction and the duration had been reduced by 3 days.

Obviously if less than 3 days remaining I do not know what would happen but you might be able to bulk edit  10 days to 7 on many if your items,

Out of curiosity looked at a listing two days from end, and the duration 7 days is greyed out.

You don't have to relist them indididually.

If you use seller hub and bulk edit, you can relist all of your unsold items and change the duration - it's the work of a couple of minutes.

Do read the response from @61stephenuk 'automatic relists' are generally NOT available unless you are a new seller and all of your relists will come off you 300 free listings for October.

Thanks all for your time; and responding. Being able to edit a live listing and/or manually relist is fine, I knew that and had been doing so. But weird is the rest because; my shop is already four months old, regularly listing and selling and yet, auto-relist had never worked, until this last week gone. Sunday September 28th was the first time listings of mine automatically relisted at all. It was a surprise that they had. This is why I've questioned the process and possibilities. Evidently it should have been doing it when I started but somewhere, it had only just clicked. This just makes one more point to add to a long and ever growing list of complaints I have. But I'll leave this one here as "Strange".
