As a private seller if you offer returns do you reimburse the buyer the original postage as well?

I was thinking of listing more items and offering returns on some items for instance coats and blazers. I am a private seller. I was wondering for instance if an item did not fit or they changed there minds should I refund the original postage cost as well as the purchase price for the item? ebays policy is not clear.  I am unsure if offering returns would increase sales.  I would also not like to be out of pocket for the original postage cost. Any advice would be appreciated.

You do have to refund the entire amount paid, including the postage.  (Unless you use Simple Delivery when Ebay collect the postage amount and provide a label.)

You can have a returns policy where the buyer pays postage to send 'change of mind' items back to you.
