Are all Ebay decisions made with AI

I recently requested negative feedback removal (the first one I have had). The buyer left negative feedback because he says that he ordered a different item.  (an item which I have never offered for sale!)

I sent the item that was on the order, there is no dispute about this.

I explained all this to Ebay customer service but they obviously have not read the detail. Perhaps it was an AI decision?

Therefore the unfair negative feedback remains.

I have been a member since 2004 and I have over 1000 items for sale on Ebay. Perhaps time to move to another platform.

Buyer said poor quality item, nothing about wrong item.

So feedback does break ebay rules.

All you can do is send buyer feedback request via link on your own feedback page.

Ebay (AI or a real person) can only judge and decide by what the buyer writes.

Looking at that feedback, it is the buyer's opinion and there is nothing in it that would cause Ebay to remove it.

The buyer left negative feedback because he says that he ordered a different item.

But that's not what he said. He said that the item was absolute rubbish and very poor quality!

If it was not the item he ordered, wouldn't he have said so and returned it instead of talking abut the quality?

Someone has obviously got their wires crossed somewhere. But whatever he received eBay almost never removes feedback about quality. They never even see the items concerned.

Re: Are all Ebay decisions made with AI

Prior to revising his feedback to the one now listed, the buyer had
left negative feedback saying it was not the item he had 'ordered'

The following is a transcript of the messages between the buyer and myself.

*Buyer*

for a dolomite

*Sandra4003*

Hello, A copy of your order is enclosed. Regards, Sandra (photo of Order

Re: Are all Ebay decisions made with AI

I am surprised ebay didn't remove the original feedback based on those messages and the original listing, but they won't remove it now.

Many thanks for your input.

I don't think anybody (or any machine) bothered to look at the original listing or the messages.

If buyer changed feedback, I was not aware that negative feedback allowed change of words, but still remain as negative.

Re: Are all Ebay decisions made with AI

The buyer changed his feedback as a result of my 'request to change feedback'

I also at the same time reported the buyer, sending Customer Service a copy of the messages between buyer and myself.

The feedback change remained negative, just different words.
