I bought an expensive video game from one seller on the 6th, £80 to be exact. I know, overpriced, it was a bit of an impulse purchase based on nostalgia. No response yet, but it's 3 business days to respond so fair enough.
But, today I noticed that the exact same game is being offered to me by what's presumably an alt account of the original seller, for the same price no less. Is he attempting to scam me here, and if so, what should I do? If it is a scam, I worry that messaging the seller directly and informing him that I know what he's up to would be counterproductive.
Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

Concentrate on the original purchase of the game, and you can use the Money Back Guarantee process within 30 days of the estimated delivery date if the games doesn't arrive,or arrives not as described.https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/

While you can get a full refund, it can hardly be a scam, as seller has to refund, or if they do not, you escalate to ebay who force a refund, and seller gets penalised.
Hardly a scam when it is the seller who loses money.
