I bought a dress (£15 +postage), it doesn't fit.  I asked to return it, the address is in Dublin (I'm in England).  I looked for an Eircode (Irish postcode).  The address doesn't exist.  I asked the seller for a correct address, they told me they don't want it back, but will give me a lesser amount.  We agreed on £10.  They offered a partial refund of £8.35, saying something about VAT, which was incorrect.  I rejected that.  They agreed they would actually refund £10, but first I need to close the case with ebay. Ebay advice says don't close the case until resolved as once you close they case they can't follow up with sellers.  The seller says I have to close the case to get some of my money back.  I'm not sure I trust the seller as they have a fake address and tried to fiddle the amounts already.  Should I close the case?  How do I get ebay to help with this? ... Anyone know how I can speak to eBay regarding an item which is faulty at 126 days, it is under their 180 day Money Back Guarantee but Seller no longer listed, cannot raise a return as eBay does not list item bought March 2021. I purchased an item on 30/04/21 from a seller and the item has not been received to date. I have contacted the seller on several occasions and been asked to give more time for delivery a number of times. I then asked for a refund and now item has now been deleted form my purchase list to open an ebay request to step in. However I have all the messages on my phone app and details of the item on there. Does managed payments work for anyone.  I felt forced to sign up to Ebay managing my payments or informed they would remove all my listings, so reluctantly did so. Two items sold on Monday, I'm advised I have to post them by Thursday. I have not received cleared funds to my bank to date.     Do I / Am I expected to post items before receiving cleared payment?  If I hold off sending them till such time as payment is received I risk getting marked down by buyers for not dipatching quickly enough.    Am considering removing all listings and closing account as Ebay seems to be setting sellers up to fail.  Comments and thoughts from other sellers greatly appreciated. ... I bought a tv off ebay the other week, for £200, after realsising that the tv had a scratch on it I created  a return, as I wanted to return it. Ebay then refunded me the money, but the seller wouldn't accept a return. He messaged me a few days later saying that he was going to go to the police, because he lost the item and the money. I since argeed to pay £165 over paypal, however I now noticed more pixelation issues, and feel it will only be a short amount of time, until the screen gets worse because of the preexisting damage, I am unsure of what to do now, as I feel as though the tv is okay, it won't last that long.
