TV Purchase

I bought a tv off ebay the other week, for £200, after realsising that the tv had a scratch on it I created  a return, as I wanted to return it. Ebay then refunded me the money, but the seller wouldn't accept a return. He messaged me a few days later saying that he was going to go to the police, because he lost the item and the money. I since argeed to pay £165 over paypal, however I now noticed more pixelation issues, and feel it will only be a short amount of time, until the screen gets worse because of the preexisting damage, I am unsure of what to do now, as I feel as though the tv is okay, it won't last that long. And the longer I wait, I ewon't be able to get a paypal refund.

Seller is a fool, if you have given back money then there is nothing more you can do.

The Police wouldn't be interested, if he had dealt with your claim himself, this would not have happened. Because he choose to ignore the problem, ebay assume he doesn't want it back and refund in full. Hedoen't get a refund of the selling fee and get a defect.

If he wanted it back he must send you the postage, but you have no liability to him and as I say the police would not take any action, he created the problem by not sending you a Reply Paid Return Label.

I doubt that you can get a Paypal Refund , particularly if you have already repaid him some money , and if they did you would have to pay return postage

Have you paid the£165? If not don't do it,if the seller wants TV back he has to pay for return either sending you prepaid label or postage money or arranging collection.

If you have paid the money then the TV is now yours in it's current condition.

You wont be able to open a Paypal case as you have already been refunded and it would appear as though you were falsely claiming twice.
