HUGELY gratful for advice on how to handle this situ, for the sale of a Hugo Boss watch, sale date was 28 Nov ..... Buyer sent a message on 1 Dec once received stating that the watch wasn’t working. It was an unused watch that had a brand new battery fitted before listing for sale, and had been checked, it was working perfectly before dispatch. Buyer said she’d take it to a shop to see what’s what. I didn’t hear back, until last night, she sent the below message. I’d be very grateful for advice on what I should do? Request she returns it? If so who pays return postage? We're over 30 days since the sale ......... Hi, sorry haven’t message you sooner haven’t been well. Just to let you know iv been going to shop after shop just before Christmas trying to get this watch to work , its been a big headache haven’t had much luck. In the end managed to find a shop who looked in to the watch the battery was the wrong one u put in so its charged me £16.99 to buy a correct watch battery for it to work. My partner opened his present on Christmas day and he’s gutted as the watch is very squeaky wont stop making noises ?
