Item Collected

Sale has proceeded with no issues at all other than fact that Buyer agreed to collect. Buyer has paid in full and collected. Buyer is happy. However I have an outstanding message to dispatch item. I have no code to scan and no six figure reference. I cannot cancel as this will refund Buyer. Any suggestions please?

eBay sends the code to the buyer's phone and they're supposed to give it to the seller to show item has been collected.  But it's only for the app.  You should still be able to mark as dispatched using a PC or laptop.  On My eBay via More Actions, right of item on your sold page.  Or on seller hub page click on the item, then top left > Mark as Dispatched.

ebay have introduced these codes without actually telling anyone about them!

if you are the seller the buyer is supposed to show you the code on their phone,

you can bypass the need for a code by using the full site, not the app

use the drop down menu next to the item and mark it as paid and dispatched
