Wrong Item Sent case-Buyer Made Up a Story Lying That We Sent a Totally Different Item

Hi   We sold and sent an iPad LCD touch screen worth £79.99 to a buyer in Australia, when he received it he immediately opened a Wrong Item Sent case, lying that we sent him a cheap screen protector. This is probably the first Wrong Item Sent case in our 6 years of selling on eBay. We argued with the buyer back and forth on the case page, and he asked for an 85% discount in his last message. We think there is not much we can do to bring back his conscientiousness, as he wants to scam us for sure.   We have reported the buyer to eBay, and contacted customer service twice, but it seems not much help. Now we are in such a dilemma, as eBay buyer protection rules will force us to accept the return even we know that if he returns he will send back a screen protector, not the LCD screen we sent him. Fees

Hello everyone,   Could someone help me please? I have ended all my listings just now (540) in order to change my system. I have a Basic Shop subscription. Now I wanted to relist them revised (not all one by one regularly throughout the month) but Ebay charges me the insertion fee. Paying for item using paypal or Bank app on mobile phone

When Paypal was part of eBay I used to pay for items easily using the Paypal app. I would be taken to the Paypal app, I would login using my fingerprint, but now it doesn't take me to the app. Is there a way of setting it up so that it takes me to the app, or can I set it up so that when I want to pay for an item it can take me directly to my Bank app instead? ... Return Request from buyer

I have received a return request from a buyer but have not sent item since it was purchase the day before. Why is it possible to raise a return request when item has not been posted yet. Plus the method of cancelling the order has been removed from the list, and been replaced with the return request. The methods of refunds stated that the item is keeped buy the buyer but it has not been sent. I have message the buyer asking to cancel the return request to enable me to cancel the order. Chris. Ebay liars!

Ebay has recently forced us all to add bank account details to our profiles becaue they were ditching paypal.  I argued I didnt want to add my payment details to ebay as it made my account insecure since anyone could buy something if i forgot to uncheck the DEFAULT stay signed in check box.  Oh no they say.. you will always have to sign in again when you spend money. This is a total lie.  I can start my computer go to my ebay buy something and not once was i asked to sign in. Hilariously when I wanted to post this comment - I had to sign in. Absolute joke - so thanks ebay - youve left my account wide open.   I'd be the first to defend successful large organisations but when they dont listen to customers and resort to blackmail and bullying to get their way - then I begin to understand why they get the bad press and scrutiny they do.  Not happy at all.     ... Search Syntax

I am trying to formulate a search that I can save to alert me to items of interest. because of the different ways people list their items then several variations are required, such as.....   Audio Note Audionote Audio-Note   I see how I can specify multiple options, but, I am strugging with the last one! If I search dor "Audio-Note" then it will not find a listing that has Audio-Note in the title. Similarly, searching for "Audio Note" does not find it either. If I leave off the quotation marks and just seach for Audio Note then it will find Audio-Note. However, this will also find all sorts of spurious listings that have Audio and Note anywhere in the title!   I am guessing that eBay is treating the - as a special character rather than simple text to search for. Is there anything I can do or preface it with to tell eBay to treat as text?  ... View more

Harassment by 'buyer' ebay returned the money to.

I have sent a report to ebay about this buyer/buyers/syndicate (?) who appear to be operating from Malaysia.  I sold a bike to a bidder who came in at the last minute. We then had price quibble then talk of delayed payment and when I insisted on payment, which did come and was lodged with ebay, I discovered the buyer was not 'collection in person only' but someone in Malaysia operating through what appears to be a network in this country.  A box was to come from a recognised bike delivery company for me to put the bike in and I would receive labels to print off the day before. Of course this didn't happen. I contacted ebay who cancelled the transaction and refunded the buyer's money as I had no idea what the endgame was going to be. Since then I have been messaged often several times a day, even offering more money, and persistently asking me to sell him the bike. I asked that there be no more communication but it didn't stop. Then yesterday a tatty used box for a bike arrived with Hermes with no indication from whom or where it had come. I wasn't here and unfortunately someone accepted it. My ex 'buyer' is now messaging to ask for my Paypal account so that I can forward the empty box to someone in England and I will be 'refunded' via Paypal.
