If you had read eBay's terms and conditions, especially its money back guarantee to buyers, you would have known that eBay requires proof of delivery, not proof of posting.

Those are the terms you accepted.

You need tracking proof of delivery, not just proof of posting.   You can claim compensation for yourself.

proof of posting shows something was posted,

you have to have proof the item was received

if you don't have a code number on your proof of posting that shows the item was delivered you have to refund the buyer and use the proof of posting to claim from Royal Mail

Sorry I'm the sender so it was not a tracking postage so can I still claim from royal mail
