making a claim back for good purchased on ebay within 2 year warranty

Hi, i brought an LED light fitting from a seller on 18 jan 2020.

The light i purchased has since become faulty, it was however covered by a 2 year warranty from the seller.

I have contacted the seller and explained that the light is faulty and i purchased it well within the warranty and ive asked for a replacement. 

The seller has not responded at all although its only been 48 hours.

im not sure what i need to do next and would be grateful for any advice.

Nothing you can do on eBay or, I doubt, through any payment provider.

Was it a UK seller?

Any "warranty" is only ever as good as your ability to enforce it, sadly.

I see, but on the UK sellers page it states clearly 2 year warranty, as the light developed a fault surely its a breach of Ebay t& c’s and the seller must legally make good on they’re guarantees

Are you saying that Ebay is not able to intervene at all?

You need to get in touch with the seller. There is no breach of eBay's T&C's.
