Not received - says not paid

Hi,

I bought a set of Airbus A380 Emirates decal from "bakaienksergi-0" and paid for this on 20 March 2018. The delivery was supposed to be before 14 April and today 25 April I have not received it. The seller says it left Ukrain on 24 March and NZ is far away. That far huh!

When I checked with the "almost impossible to contact" customer service contact us link, the screen shows a message reproduced below

"It doesn't look like this item has been paid for yet. If you've already paid for this item, you can ask your seller to mark the item as paid."

Looks like customer service has left me high and dry to sort it out with the seller myself. I am loosing faith in ebay now 😞

Did you pay by pay pal? If not then there is really nothing that Customer Services can do as it is up to the seller to mark as paid and even then there is no protection under the the Money Back Guarantee. 

If you have paid by pay pal you can make an Item Not Received claim through them if there is nothing showing on eBay...although I can't understand why not unless the seller sent you a pay pal invoice not referencing the eBay item number ...rather than an eBay one.

You have 30 days from the date of expected delivery to claim through eBay and 180 days from date of sale through pay pal.

Its always best to use pay pal or credit card payment to get protection. With credit card (and some debit cards) you claim through your bank/card provider.
