Its the old Item not as described issue, I would hate to offend an honest buyer but how do I tell who's honest?
ETA thanks for the replies, does a refund include P&P?
ETA - Have received the item back totally unsellable - anyone had similar?
The answer to both questions is - You can't.
Buyers opinion rules so if they say not as described then it is not as described.
Best just to keep it amicable and offer refund upon return.
Thankfully (hopefully) it doesn't happen too many times.
There is absolutely no way to know. Check thier feedback including f/b left for others which might give you a hint. That said, if they claim SNAD you will have no choice but to refund.
