Since Page 491 posting 9820 my life changed and then I didn't have the heart to keep going on this "old thread". However time heals and popping back on from time to time has helped. Weird really. Like you now into my 3rd year of retirement, new sport of lawn bowls (outdoor, indoor and short mat) has taken over my life after 35 years of ten-pin bowling. Only my balls have got smaller - no jokes please.
Life plods on in Surrey, currently builders in refurbing the old granny annex and shower room I built 35 years ago. Water leak from the old shower tray over the decades caused damp problems I didn't know existed until the shower room door started to jam on the carpet. So pension is paying to put all this right, whilst I sit back and watch the skip get fuller. Should be finished in a couple of weeks as the dehumidifier has almost completed the drying out process. Sorry rambling.
Hope Cove revisited or newer places found to imbibe? Have discovered Malta and Cisk instead of Menorca and San Migel. Getting used to paying single supplement and quite like Easyjet (until they start weighing us alongside the case). Still have problems there. Eat what you like said my docter......but don't swallow. Hope you kept up the fight? Type 2 and keep taking the pills, blood tests every 3 months so I least I do get out to see interesting people that stick needles into me.
