We had a terrible thunderstorm earlier on.  One clap of thunder lasted about 2 or 3 minutes.  We've got more thunder forecast for tomorrow as well.

we've had a lovely day here, warm and sunny! one shower of rain about tea time but apart from that OK. Wonder if we'll get your thunder tonight Chris....

We had a bad thunderstorm this morning went on for about half an hour, we had a couple of power spikes and the dogs hid under the table.  It was amost like night it was so dark, and the rain, the drains could hardly keep up , speaking of rain its just started lashing down again yet this afternoon it was lovely and I got a line of washing dry.

We had snow when I got up this morning...............................but 4 miles further down was totally clear and just wet and slushy

Rain this afternoon so all gone now

It was cold here first thing and it was dry.  However, at around 11.30, we had a shower of sleet closely followed by hailstorm.  We've had a heavy rain shower around half an hour ago.  It's still cold though.

Goodness, poor old Cardiff!  We were in Swansea today and it was icy cold, but clear and occasionally sunny.  Only 40 miles or so up the coast.

We had a power cut yesterday that lasted for 4 hours; last night I just settled down to watch TV and the power went off again , 6-30p.m. and didnt come on until 1 a.m this morning. I was worried about the aquarium, as my Goldfish need to have the pump going. Thankfullyy they are ok. I've managed to watch a repeat of the X Factor this afternoon, so am hoping no more power cuts tonight as its the X Factor final.

Hope that you don't have any more power cuts Carol.  Even though we had bad weather last week, we've not had any power cuts - yet.  

Today, it's been milder and we've had heavy rain showers.  It's forecast much of the same for the next few days.  I hope that it stays that way on Wednesday as I've said that I'll take my mum into town.  We'll have our lunch out and have a spot of retail therapy.
