fun day at work tomorrow

i spent 2 hrs overtime on sunday making all the componants of three ginger bread houses out of ginger shortbread cookie dough and after work tomorrow i am helping the activities co-ordinator to help the oldies turn them into the finished products using glace icing and loads of sweets.

well I think you should get the big arm chair to do your supervising from!

I hope they appreciate you cooky....you do so much for them. I still haven't forgotten the afternoon teas you did in the summer, cor, they looked good!!!

well my day was very interesting and we learnt a lot like DO NOT TRY AND MAKE GINGERBREAD HOUSES IN AN HOUR AND A HALF as this does not work as the icing takes ages to dry.it would have been a success if we had about 8 hours to spare.

but saying that the residents who we helped did enjoy themselves and were proud of their houses.

we made so much mess but it was fun.

it was fun and the oldies where so proud of their houses. and now i am going to soak in a nice long hot bath.i have earnt it.
