Any Wimbledon tennis fans amongst you? I hope Murray does us proud this year. Loved the tennis in the days of McEnroe and Jimmy Connors, they were always entertaining.

Ahhh im so happy 🙂
Stayed down in Yarmouth to watch the final. It was perfect end to a perfect weekend. We were going to leave at 1pm and I'm so glad we stayed and we watched the whole match otherwise we may have missed the end. Felt like a dream even though i had a cushion over my face at times as could not bear to watch!
This is a very good day for Great Britain, and we are indeed a 'great' nation!!!!
Blimin marvellous, well done Andy :-):-):-)

This fabulous montage was shown on the BBC at the end of the Murray game on Friday evening after he had won the semi final. The song is called 'What If' by Alistair Griffin and was written specially for the occasion. The full length version can be found on youtube minus the montage.
We must never give up on our dreams 🙂

Well, if he'd done it any better and taken all the chances he had it would have totally humiliated Novac who is a nice lad, so I'll wear the extra grey hairs and bitten nails he caused me 😄
I'm doubly pleased that the nation has taken him to their hearts now.
Lets hope he gets home to his adored border terriers quickly and get a bit of R&R for a couple of days.

Fred Perry won Wimbledon 3 yrears in a row and was not knighted. Let's keep a sense of perspective, Mr Cameron.

that gif has been doing the rounds
i cant work out if the creator is an idiot or pedant
they have purposely worded it
he is the first British male to have won the mens singles
if they titled his win correctly.......
