Any Wimbledon tennis fans amongst you? I hope Murray does us proud this year. Loved the tennis in the days of McEnroe and Jimmy Connors, they were always entertaining.

Yes, it will make a change to see a new face in the finals now that Serena is out; you get fed up with the same ones winning. Shame Laura went out, but at least Andy is still in 🙂

Lovely to have new names/contenders 🙂 Especially as I have tickets for Saturday's final 😉

Thank you for the timings of todays important matches 🙂
Oooh its exciting isn't it!!!
I think the timings went a bit adrift...
Although she lost, I thought Laura Robson did well really to hold her own. She needs to build up her agility and work on her baseline return strokes as so many were out... 😞 She needs Ivan Lendl to coach her. 😉
I thought Andy did well, although I and thousands of others were just a fraction worried in that 2nd set but luckily he pulled himself out of it.
Here's the order of play tomorrow, starting at 13.00

Does anyone know who Andy Murray's next opponent is? I hope it isn't Djokovic 🙂

Ah, thanks Rose, will be watching him. Not heard of his opponent.

I think that Verdasco is a Spaniard. I think that he's done well to get to the quarter finals as Spaniards normally prefer clay courts.

Yes, he's a left hander too and according to Murray he's "dangerous".
So, I imagine Andy will be on his toes later on Centre court around 16.00.
Ferrer's up first against Del Potro. Should be a good match.

2 sets all - I think I need some smelling salts :^O

Yes, what a tense match to say the least! I honestly thought Andy would be going out when he was 2 sets down. Really good match.

I am exhausted after that game, so goodness knows what Murray and Verdasco feel like.
As to being dour, not every one can be a flamboyant extrovert. I think he takes his sport very seriously, he couldn't be number 2 in the World without doing so.
His "Anti-English" comment was a joke which was mis-interpreted by the press...................
He has worked damn hard to get where he is and I for one salute him!

What brilliant skill and strength of character to come back from 2 sets down!
What mental brilliance and determination that must take to not give up or be intimidated! Quite inspirational 🙂
If only tennis had as much tv airtime as football or cricket!
I went round my neighbours house to watch the last couple of games - big thanks Allan 🙂

Well that was some game, not good for the blood pressure that's for sure...
He made a brilliant comeback and I thought Verdasco played really well. It can't have been in easy in that last set listening to the crowd cheering Andy on on every point.

Made a cuppa & idly switched tv on, as I had 45 mins or so to go before leaving for swimming
Riveted by the Murray match, I missed my swim
I too am amazed by comeback attitude/play
Me? I'd say 'Fair play, you've won' at the first hurdle:|
