It can get very quiet on here BJ,  people can be busy, or at work or just don't have anything to say. Be patient they will be back.

I have been to work this morning and when I came back I went into the garden whilst the sun is shining.

I had to take my mum to the doctor's for a blood test at 11.15 and then we went into town and had a snack for our lunch.  My mother has walked the legs off me in town and I'm shattered now.  Mind you, mum's shattered as well so she might nod off later.

And I swam my fifty lengths this morning and then been getting him little meals all day, and washing and knitting and de-scaling the kettle!

Been at work and now just back off the school run , so need to feed some littlies before I can sit down to chat on here

Where I work we don't have such luxuries as windows. The standing joke is that my office is really the broom cupboard. There could be fire, flood, nuclear explosion going on outside and we would be none the wiser. We actually got snowed in once, no snow when I went to work, when I went to leave in the evening there was over 6 inches, and since it had blown and drifted against the doors there was nearly a foot.

Trying to clear my desk before I go off sick, but it is manic, the phone never stops and you don't get chance to type up your notes about one call before the phone rngs again. Folks seem to have a very strange idea of office hours, the phone started ringing at 7am today - 9 phone calls before 9am!

I know the feeling over people having a strange idea of office hours.  A firm I used to work for, we used to have phone calls starting when I got in at around 7.45. They never got answered before 9 but the calls used to go to the answerphone.  I am convinced that some people think that offices are open 24/7.

Our phone calls do come in 24/7. You can get in and there's 20 calls on the system then dead on 9.05am the phone will ring again and it's normally one of those who have left a message (never an urgent call) asking why you haven't got back to them as you opened at 9.

We're open from 7.45am and get phone calls right through 'til 5pm. The ones which make me chuckle are the 'are you open'? calls. No, we're not, I'm just here for the love of it!

Of course you are BJ.  A few weeks ago, we watched an episode of 24 Hours in A & E.  They received a phone call asking when were they open.
