Here on the East Coast (Brid) it's very windy but has stopped raining for now. Seen the disruption down South on the news, and 10,000 homes without power; anyone got snow? If so, please send it this way.

Had winds of 75 mph here today; there's a bit of damage to next door's roof. Good day for getting the washing dry though.

Still blowy here but not as bad as it was this time last night.  It's a lot on the cool side as well.  

When  I went into town this morning this man I know said that they only had a light frost yesterday morning.  A lady who lives in the same area and said that she had a thick frost as did the rest of town yesterday.

Wind has now dropped, but suprise suprise it's still raining.

Today it has rained off and on, but the wind has been and still is very very strong and howling. I'm visiting Dunbar SE Scotland I know it's worse in the west, it's bad enough trying to walk in it here

kaeptm, I am over on the west coast and yesterday I would not have classed as to bad although I am ex navy so maybe that has something to do with it  . Just back off the beach this morning and it is a bit bracing the breeze and I can smell rain on the way but hope it will just be showers as I like walking our dog along the beach and do not like being soaked through doing it.

 They did Maggie, but when the power went off, they weren't so happy  lol

We still all had a great time, & with drums, keyboard & guitars ( & booze ) nobody bothered

This morning it s lovely Blue sky,,, not a cloud in sight right now. Its colder and slightly blustery. Lovely day at the moment i dont know whats in store later or tomorrow though!!.

Really stormy yesterday, hubby was called into work early yesterday, for rail replacement.

Phone call this morning at 7 on the rail replacement again, so he could be anywhere between Carlisle & Crewe

Glad they made it Merc. We just had a one hour power cut on Xmas Eve so got off very lightly. The family have just gone home & it's very peaceful! I am not going to do anything for the rest of the day as I am feeling very lazy!

Wind blew down one of my little trees in the front garden last night, have picked it up again and dusted it down. Also noticed one of next doors fence panels has been blown down.

One of our customers this morning said half her fence had been blown down. Seems calmer today, very cold, but dry and calm.

Calm & chilly here. We have had a short shower but nothing much. Washer full of towels at the moment!

Cooler today but at least the sun is shining now, very wet first thing.

It's a lot calmer here at the moment but it's cold.  We do have some blue sky but there are a few clouds around as well.  Mum said that she had seen a weather forecast on TV earlier and we may get frost overnight.  I looked on the Met Office earlier and it said we would get gusts of wind up to 32 to 34 mph overnight and it is going to be about 5 degrees so I'll take that.
