What did you do in work today?

I send a shedload of emails, two of which were dignified with a reply. I updated a table and I did some networking. I had lunch and when I went to make tea, found the milk had gone off. Exciting!

I shovelled a load of paperwork around and ran some mail merges.

I am off long-term sick, but I read and replied to a load of emails and updated a couple of documents. I am able to work remotely at home.

I went in Cleaned the Banking hall,, dusted thoroughly,,cleaned the smudgy hand printed glass in the main door. In between saying the usual Morning to the staff,, i collected cups and rubbicsh and went upstairs. Washed cups,,cleaned the kitchen up. After that i checked loo rolls and hand Towels in the Toilets. Cleaned the toilets. Took Rubbish out to bins. Had a quick look to see what stock was there!!!. Made a cup of tea and sat for a while. That was it Folks!. The staff are so nice i wish i could have longer hours there but alas NO.

Thats my usual routine,,it does not vary much.

Today was broadly similar to yesterdat for me: 31 emails, 3 of which were immediately returned undeliverable as folk don't always update their email address details when they change. Then I did more networking, fiddled with a bit of editing, tried to make a cuppa but remembered too late I hadn't got more milk after it went off yesterday. Listened to the boss swearing gently as he was working on a difficult job, ate my sandwich and drafted a letter which he re-wrote almost entirely as my head wasn't working properly (as he said, not unkindly, "You've lost your Mojo today haven't you?) and then it was chucking-out time.

lol. Well it's a fact I'm back at work, & I have had to strip , but there's no tips being shoved in me thong,just a sugar free sweetie in me surgical gown pocket & a dab of Vick up me snout! Further to that the only gyrating I've been doing was to avoid a dead cow falling on me!. lol.

Nah! Silly attendant didn't chain it on properly as we pulled it up it decided to fall off, I ought to get danger money, or a new assistant, I'm making my mind up on that one!. lol.

Well where do I start. Apart from doing my own work I had to do the night persons work as well. Not a happy bunny this morning. My hand held computer wouldn't work I have loads to do I have been getting hot flushes every 5 minutes grrrrr.
Never mind 4 days off after this evening.

I drove some very nice people from a local garden centre to a lovely National Trust place in a coach.

(the people were in the coach, not the national trust place lol!)

It was a beautiful day, lovely and sunny.  While I was waiting I walked around the lovely gardens

and talked to another very nice coach driver and we had a nice cup of coffee in the cafe.  The coach

driver I was talking to had been on holiday to the same place as me, at the same time, and eaten a meal

in the same cafe on the same evening as me - what a coincidence!  I said "I didn't see you, well I may

have done but didn't know it!"

Work could be far worse than that, I'm very lucky.

No Chickengrandma, it an odd job for the old companythat they've taken on as it's a regular

customer and they've still got coaches to do it in.  I think that was the really, really last one.

Spoke to boss of new firm yesterday and he seems ok, I start when the schools go back in

a couple of weeks.
