We had fish and chips for lunch so it was only rolls for tea.  He had grated cheese and tomato and I had................well it wasn't MY fault I just happened to be frying 24 cumberland sausages to put in the freezer.  Everybody knows 20 sausages is enough for anybody's freezer so I could hardly throw the others  (4) away could I. ???  Then we had chocolate cheesecake.

You freeze cooked sausages? How do you reheat them or do you have them cold?

Pop them in the micro for however many seconds Maggie.  They come out piping hot, plump and sizzling, just like out of the frying pan.  I freeze just about everything at one time or another, from bread and milk to stewed apple, apple crumbles, cheese quiche, splodge, roast beef,  you name it I freeze it and then nuke it and it 's like fresh again.
