Seeing as some of you have really taken Tweet the Budgie to your hearts, I thought he should have his own special fan club thread where you can post your good wishes for his Xray on Wednesday or anything else you want to write. So far his fan club consists of Rose; Capn B; Sam; Chris.

Mr Tweet is fine thanks, still ignoring his new toys! As for me, will give the hernia a few more days to settle, if it doesn't will get it checked out.

He's not eating the new seed now, CB; I bought some Broccoli today as Budgies are supposed to like it -guess what? HE doesn't! I don't like the stuff either. As for the flying - hmmm, not tried that one yet. xx

Hi Sam, still got some hernia pain but the "bruised" feeling is going; little dog stood on the hernia site last night though, which didnt help. Ouch! When I have to put Tweet into the cage I take him to the vets in, I always close the blinds just in case he takes off and hits the window; ultra cautious that's me, LOL He's a bit quieter this morning, but that could be because the sun isnt out yet - or maybe the Broccoli scared him!

There are a few feathers in the bottom of Tweet's cage; he had a few growing on his chest again but as usual, they have fallen off; I'm hoping the other ones are due to normal moulting. Maybe that's why he is a bit quieter today.

does he like apple? even peas, our birdie loved peas, well anything green really.

Pleased to say my hernia is easier today, but I have to be soooo careful as it doesn't take much to aggravate it; just have to lift something and it will start again, even stress can affect it.

Also pleased to say Tweet is happier today, I was a bit concerned about him yesterday; will try him on the Apple and the Peas, CB. They are supposed to like Banana but he doesn't

For me or Tweet? LOL

Will have to look online to see what it looks like, dont want to give him the wrong thing. I had some dandelion leaves in the garden, went to get him one and OH had dug them up and thrown them away. They had been there for ages as well. There are plenty along my walks but dogs could have pee'd on them!
