Seeing as some of you have really taken Tweet the Budgie to your hearts, I thought he should have his own special fan club thread where you can post your good wishes for his Xray on Wednesday or anything else you want to write. So far his fan club consists of Rose; Capn B; Sam; Chris.

Well, Tweet has been trying it on with the new food! He keeps going right up to the dish, then backs away; at one point he chewed his dish, think he was trying to get the message across that plastic tastes better than expensive seed! Anyway, he has had a little bit of it; it's a battle of wills I think, to see if I will give in and give him the Trill back. Not yet, I won't!

I'll give him ten out of ten for effort Carol. Hopefully, he'll get the message soon.

Good morning, Sam; Lil Mr Tweet is doing fine thanks, he has got his head in his food dish as I type this, LOL He must have realised he wasnt going to get his own way on the food! Hope you are well? He was swearing quite a lot yesterday, probably cos of the food, ha,ha.

lol. I'm fine thanks , busy at work but I can always find time for my favourite bird & his mum off course, I'm so glad he's given in & is eating his food, with them being so tiny they go down very quickly, so that's good news indeed. xxx

OOh im glad little Tweet is eating his food now. Your a Good Boy and perhaps mum will allow you a little swear up and get it off your feathery(still i hope?) chest!!

I've got a lot of hernia pain today, Rose, so not feeling so good. Hope you are ok. Tweet has been using norty words most of the morning; in fact, there is an I.O.U. in the swear box, can't keep up with him. xxxx

Oh no ! We seem to be dropping like flies on here the last couple of weeks, why haven't you had treatment or are you waiting for some!
The first thing Tweet needs to buy with his overflowing swear box is a present for his mum?

Why don't you let him fly round the room to use up some calories?  He'll be nice and slim then.

Sorry that you're not well today Carol.   I hope that you soon feel better.  I am glad though that Tweet has decided to eat his food though.  It's bound to be good for him.

Im sorry your not well Carol,,,,,we are a poorly lot these last few days!!!!. Ill have to get Tweet to sing to you. I like that Budgie of CGs flying overhead!!!. Or was it Tweet?.

Hi, Rose and Sam, my hernia is still hurting, it feels like it is bruised all round it, thank you for asking. Tweet is in good spirits, not done much swearing today, funny how he swears more some days than others. I've bought him a couple of new toys to occupy him, he can have then as a reward for eating the new food As with anything new that he gets, he is still wary of the toys. He'll probably play with them in a day or two. xxxx
