Towery no it's very soggy here, we hadn’t recovered from last year, walls just can't dry out and are crumbly, so it's just relentless, but somewhat different from the poor folks in Somerset etc. How's your's fareing?

I'm with Towery in the blessed silence corner.  Not that our house gets a lot of wind noise but the consant gales meant constant earache every time i stepped outside.  Spent yesterday on the beach with Sproglet who when told she could have a paddle promptly sat down and took her wellies off!!! Hmm.  Plenty of wood and branches and shingle washed up but no real sign of just how bad friday night's wind was - nature at it's best.

Morning all

Daughter visiting.  Apparently her college work takes prioirty over my mountain.  Arti - I have taken to a new list every Monday - it is amazing how long it is by friday!. Best one lately is  student Finance - he applied for a revision of his DSA in October - due to various confusions, missing emails and generally pretending him out of existance they have sent his award letter which is neither relevant or accurate or takes note of his change in course which was actually the major hold up in the first place.
