Frosty here earlier and now misty, but suspect it will give way to a fine day in the end.

Have poked poor Master A back into school with a head full of cold, and am now feeling guilty! Am busy cooking the same one myself and am hoping he doesn't feel this rotten. Neither of us can look ill to save our lives.

Finished building the hoist yesterday and off to try it in a bit. Have run out of excuces and time to put off doing the cellar.

Lovely weather out there. Love sun and frost together.

Daughter needs picking up tonight but couldn't promise 'cos son has a hospital appointment. Daughter stropped off. Then son announced he wasn't going to the hospital, I couldn't make him and he was staying in college. Son stropped off. Now hospital are going to strop 'cos those appointments are like gold dust and this dept is run by a consultant who does not forgive and forget (luckily we don't see him).

Half term is next week here Dooley (and I've taken the week off.
Thanks for thinking about me Momma. I'm a bit rocky at the moment but think that a break next week is what I need.

Morning Floaty, no, son did not go to the hospital. Then in the evening he complains his hand/wrist hurt - same consultant!!!. Roll on April(when he is going).

Very misty here as it's been last two days, but has given way to sun.

Sorry couldn't get here yesterday, I'm ponging of damp cellar and am not at all well, but can't stop, as we're out of time and heading for serious collisions if we don’t keep going, so we're limping through to Friday and half term.

Master A is off for 'academic review day' today, in which the school try and justify in a five minute slot how a child who's working just as hard and consistently as he was last year has mysteriously dropped up to two whole levels in some subjects (all with change of teachers) and despite high current assessments in others is predicted to have lower marks by next year. We've no real way of showing how farcical it all is as his key books are all unmarked all term! But apparently it's all ''motivational''. Am supposed to sit there with my lip buttoned........

Also hasn't 'achieved' any of the personal targets set for him, possibly because none of the things that adults where supposed to do as part of them like provide photos of people for him to learn the names of, have been done! I just know I'm going to be doodling chain saws again.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts for him, and sorry to be so self absorbed at the moment.
