Btw I struggle with pigeons in close proximity too. (Have a yucky story about rescueing one but it's too early!)

Whoops - forgot to look for his watch yesterday!. Mind you until he tidies his bedroom I'm too fat to get through the gap when the door is (sort of ) opened!. Think I'll go throw back the 26 pairs of identical black socks he tidied away yesterday by puuting in the wash.]:) Is feeling mean.

Good morning all. The sun is streaming in throught the curtains here.
Thank you for all your thoughts. The funeral was good - Mum would have approved. All the older generations of our extended family came and lots of her friends. During the service the vicar produced some christmas decorations - swags covered in christmas ribbons and dried flowers which are tied to the end of all the pews at christmas - Mum had made them years ago and they are still using them. My daughter remembers collecting all the pine cones which Mum attached to them. Even the rain held off for the burial.
We had a lovely time reminiscing with the family afterwards and Daughter and I drove back to London last night (through some atrocious weather) feeling remarkably peaceful.
Am going to have a quiet day today and then back to the routines of work.

Good morning all dull but dry here today. Yesterday we got some sunshine in the afternoon and then rain again in the evening.

We had to get up early this morning as the chap was coming to check my bath lift for insurance purposes and we didn't know what time he was coming. Luckily we were up and dressed as ours was his first call.

I am going to see sis in law this afternoon. She has had a lot of falls and they can't find out what the problem is.

Floaty I was thinking about you yesterday. I am glad it was a nice service and that the rain kept off. (((Floaty))))
