Good morning all bright but windy here. It sounds as though you have had a bad night in the south.
We had alot of rain but not very high winds like you have had.
Arty it must have been horrendous for you in the night. Thank goodness for the good samaritans. Take care and catch up on your sleep while Master A is at school.
Momma that is good news you will be all home and better for Christmas.
My sis in law had both knees done together about 5 years ago and she is here there and everywhere on the buses as she doesn't drive. It changed her life for the better, I wish I could pluck up the courage to have mine done, but I have so many other health problems that makes me scared. I have my little scooter and the car and I manage ok.
The trampolene arrived at 2.10 yesterday so we are now storing it until Christmas Eve for our neighbour.
We have more parcels arrived for the family and loads of Christmas cards all sent here for them all. Gramps is making a sign for the front door, 'Sorting Office'.
hopefully they will all be gone by the weekend.
We had a lovely lie in this morning that is the best thing about retirement we can do exactly what we want.

its dark and windy and must say im shattered this morning out tree and trimmings up last night not something i enjoy doing took me while 11-30 so could have gladly snuggled up under the duvet. just getting ready for work and people moaning as they wanted 6 bottles of whiskey what was on special offer and why did it finish last week when they couldnt get here groan.
must admit had a giggle yesterday a young boy came in bought two packets of condoms and a pregnacy testing kit i just looked at em and it had to pop out didnt it "Bit late for them isnt it?" porr lad was beetroot.
