Uggh what a night!
Has been no fun for many I suspect.
Got called 2am just as I was drifting off, to tell me that the fence at 'home' had taken off and was breaking next doors windows, I must come deal with it.
Got there and it had done no such thing, though it was in pieces all over the gardens.
Spent most of the night watching it totally unable to do anything but lob bricks at bits of it to try and weigh it down. But unstable neighbour would make more trouble than it's worth if I wasn't there 'while her life was in danger because of fence!' Well annoyed as it's because she hasn't had hers replaced from last time that there's now a wind tunnel hitting mine! Truth be told I think she just felt abandoned by the world in the storm.
Eventually rescued by nice Polish builders coming on to site a few doors down this morning spotting my futile attempts. Nice lads have not only grabbed it all but piled it up and weighted it down to survive the continuing storm going on here. Cold and damp and awfuly grateful to be at nice warm friends flat. Hopefully get some sleep later.

Granny my parents get all parcels and xmas cards - its the one time of year people call to drop of and pick up cards lol

finally got over the gross dream its a recurring one that follows the same theme mainly someone/thing trying to take something important of me and no matter what I do to them they keep coming back and wont die!!!
very disturbing

today I am mainly removing our old broken blown up cooker and hopefully replacing with a new/old working cooker
this will be made easier by cutting up the old one with the chainsaw as it seems to cut metal up really well

Anoyingly I can't sleep at the moment as I'm knackered but took lots of drugs to go sort things out and am now wired.

Towery you know me so well. 😄 Not overly bless them, but they where nice guys and quite dismayed by the situation. The unbalanced neighbour is also Polish but has been here a long time. As soon as they came to help she was out there getting involved, and there was an exchange of words. I don't know what was said but the tone suggested it wasn't complementary, and she shot back in, and they where very apologetic!

Herbs actually I do. I get very bad luck, and very good luck and just nothing in the middle it seems. Errr are you sure cutting up a cooker with a chainsaw is a good idea? An angle grinder maybe, but a chainsaw?
It doesn't sound like that good an idea to me Herbs.

disconecting the gas first is probably a good idea too or just leave it on and throw matches at it! that'll get rid of it very quickly
