Morning Ladies

Just looked at my knitting from last night and decided that I'll have to pull it all out 😞

I need to write out all the even numbered row instructions by reversing the instructions from the previous row so that I don't go wrong again.

3 hours wasted X-(

Aww thats such a shame learning, its soul destroying ripping out all your hard work.:-(

I'm the same if I notice a mistake I have to take it back or I will never be happy with it. I also am so anal I couldn't "lose" it in a cupboard, I have to finish and sew up one thing before I start the next project!

Now that I've started it I have to finish and it has to be right.

Just written out all the instructions in reverse, so just praying I've got it right this time ;0

I've got a baby shawl to do as a gift for a very good friend, and I am putting off starting it as I remember snapping at the kids if they interupted me last time I did this pattern.
It actually put me of knitting the shawl ever again but she has been trying for a baby for years and had, I think, given up and is now due at the end of February.:-x

Well I abandoned the Ensign's Braid and just did cables for now.
Finished one, but not sewn up yet.

Can anyone tell me how to avoid what you see in the second picture when joining 2 colours please?

You need to join with knit stitches not purl ones.

Afternoon

Well most of christmas has gone back in its boxes/cupboards. Just lights outside to take down and one set of them will be off into the bin as its not working properly.

Want to do some knitting but am waiting for my new needles to arrive - need small size pair and the ones I have are old metal ones so have ordered wooden ones.

i now know i am good at long jump, archery not so much
