I'm still making Monkeys Maggie, I just don't post pics as often, I wouldn't know where to start with dolls  :^O   & I'm going to make another sackboy after the weekend if I can get another small zip.

Thank you for the 'welcomes' to Amberley.  Thinking of drying wood etc. for fires,  it's 23 years today since the Grreat Storrm!! and we've still got wood from that!!

I'm making a skirt for my daughter. I'm not using a pattern so it might look more like a balaclava or something!:^O

At the moment I am getting, why haven't you made "me" one from  Son (sackboy) ............ goes off hoping I can still get eyes 😐

Yep Merlin - a witchie for you - can't promise when she'll be finished though - depends if I get sidetracked!!

Menfolk are all out in the garden doing the top bit of hedge they can only reach if they can borrow a huge ladder. They cut one piece off - it was over 10 feet tall! Fortunately that was the biggest bit - still over all its now 3 or 4 foot shorter than it was -still over 25 foot tall though!! Neighbour beyond doesn't mind - the hedge is actually 2 rows deep - his bit is the same height and he cut loads off last summer.

Am being driven mad by a smoke alarm - house is not burning down but it keeps going off. Am thinking the wind is blowing dust in from outside. After the 20th time I attacked the alarm with a broom - its dead now!

They look great Gems 🙂

Just told MrHF about the alarm - apparently I am to buy another one! and he'll put that one up. Guess that so if this one goes wrong, I'll get the blame - not as stupid as he looks 😉

Hippy - Thank you :-x

When your choosing your alarm get his opinion before you buy, then if it does go wrong you can half blame him 😉

We have another alarm downstairs - is cunningly used as a dinner gong - it goes off and the menfolk know its dinner time!!

Have just made another Star Taggie for my second Grandson.

His Dad has also asked for a Sock Clown for him, so may do that tomorrow.

THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning people 🙂

It's all doom and gloom here. A very good friend rang to say her hubby has had a heart attack (50) and told me not to go and see him as he needs quiet.  Is she suggesting I'm noisy :^O  SHe said I'm the only person she can say that too as I will understand, and I do.

My Tuesday man has just been carted off in an ambulance.  Don't know if anyone picked up on it a while ago as I mentioned he has been diagnosed with cancer.

He was carted off in an ambulance a few weeks ago as he had not eaten for a week and didn't quite know what was what, plus he is not talking properly.  They kept him in all day, did two blood tests and then sent him home saying they had no worries about him.  He has never left his bed since and has only had Build Ups for food.  Hasn't even had the results of his biopsy and bone marrow test.

So, allegedly he has a lymphoma which is either treatable or curable, but I think he has just gone downhill because he is a worrier. and now they won't treat his as he is not fit enough.

Sorry to go on.  Had to tell someone.
