yes, I think we' ve lost Numpts and Merlin now:_| once Numpts becomes a Nana well, that will be it!! no time to turn around, doesn't her daughter live with her?

I just can't seem to motivate myself today:-( look at the time and all I've done is fed the birds, answer the phone, have my toast and that's it I'm knackered!!!

does an infection in  your foot make you this tired? I wouldn't have thought so. I could just go back to bed and fall asleep. This is silly.....

please send size 9 quickly for kick up jacksy.....fankyou

Infections can make you very tired! For one your body is fighting it and for the other your body is saying 'oy! get OFF that hoof'!

last quilt show i visited i got a rag doll kit , dont usually buy kits but this one i fell in love with .  

 I have just finished making it , her  name is Marjorie & she 23 inches tall  😄

Thanks , she took a long time to make  & ate loads of stuffing , so i dont think i will be doing another one :^O

I buy Asdaaaa Smart Price pillows for stuffing. Two for £1.98 last time I bought some.:-)

I have & do buy pillows for stuffing but only M&S cheapies :8}  for my "better" stuff I always use good quality hi loft toy stuffing, its expensive but so much nicer & squishier + it will keep its shape if washed 😄

if you've ever washed cheap pillows you will know what weird shapes they turn into when washed 😮 & I don't want my toys spoilt because I skimpt on stuffing  :-x

The cheap pillow stuff is good for stuffing things really solidly like Vons Doll, pin cushions etc. These sort of things don't get washed anyway.:-) The lovely squishy stuff is better for children's toys I agree.:-)

I never make anything worth 'good' stuffing!  I expect it to fall apart before it needs washing! :^O

Thanks , i use a polyester stuffing i got a 1kg bag of it very cheaply.    My doll is not a toy anyway so wont get washed 😄

dolls scare me...no offence pcc, it's very nice but they do scare me, always have....

that's why I prefer teddies

I wonder if Haworth Cat Rescue would like some with the blankies? I like making them as I have no idea how their heads will turn out as I forget how many stitches to cast on and off so I just go for it!!!:^O (I sound like Kitten don't I?;\)
