Glad to hear your mum was well enough to be discharged so soon Mags, let's hope the results are good.

I was using my overlocker on some jeans (brand new but they're going in the bin now!X-() and it started acting funny, making a noise and half the threads are hanging loose!  I'll have to wait for hubby to come in and sort it out.  He hasn't got much poor s*d but he has got logic.

So another day without accomplishing anything!:-(

Have just waved bye bye to son's GF, she came for a couple of days ........ over 2 weeks ago 😐  I shouldn't complain though, poor girl did end up in hospital, she's still in pain but gone back so she can see her own GP & get another scan to see if she needs surgery or not (5cm ovarian cyst :-()

What I didn't know was that she still hasn't told her Mum X-(

I think she just didn't want to worry her Mum, GF lives in Liverpool but her Mums in Plymouth, I still think she should have told her though, If I was her Mum I'd expect her to tell me ...... she was only 20 a couple of weeks ago ... she's still her Mums baby :^O

All i can say is she must have felt very safe and comfortable staying at yours, which is a nice thing to have, you never know she could be the one  🙂

Morning all! Lovely wedding & my OH had secretly conspired with my son so when he came down to go to the church he was in a morning suit too. :-x Proud mummy! He looked gorgeous even though I'm obviously. The 18 year old wrapped around him all evening obviously thought he looked OK too ( he was 16 yesterday! :_|).

Which one of you broke the weather? X-( We took off at 7.00am on Friday, circled Guernsey for 2 & a half hours then went back to Southampton due to fog. Eventually got to the hotel at 10.00pm.

i had a guest

and he was perfect

i think i fell in love a little bit

blonde hair, brown eyes

and was a perfect gentleman

his name is Lucas

he is a guide dog

and was perfection

he is almost 4 years old, i do have experience of guide dogs as my cousin had one when i was growing up, but he was just so good

cat wasnt impressed at all and kept out his way

he didnt bother with her at all

i know some of you have dogs, but it was just a novelty for us to have him here so i wanted to share:-D

Morning merlin (and Lucas) and laydees.:-D  The weather's not too bad today, it's a bit windy and it was drizzling earlier but the sky is blue-ing up now.  What's it like in your neck of the woods merlin?

Lucas looks a lovely boy, I wouldn't have had you down as a doggy sort of person (however good he is) all those dog hairs and paw prints on your pristeen floors.:O  He doesn't look to be your ordinary retriever as his legs look too long.

wellllllllllllllllllll i am not a dog person really

i like other peoples, i'm just not dog owner material, hence i have a cat

but he came in, walked over to me, sat infront of me, paw on one knee, head on the other, and i fell in love:-D

i have hoovered the whole house and washed all the floors before 8m this morning

gosh i could have knitted my own Lucas from the hairs (and it would help if i could knit:^O)

i didnt know dogs made so much mess

but he was worth it

i couldnt cope with it all the time though, i would have to attach a mop to their tail:^O

told you i wasnt dog owner material!

was out with him last night, Bradley could have kept him

he does EVERYTHING on command

how terribly efficient

its very stormy here

and i've had texts to say there is transport disruption to here

Bradley & Kirsty are 2 train rides away, Lolly just one

so i hope they can get back ok

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww sounds like you had a lovely time with him Merlin:-D

Our 1st family dog was a cream lab, Calico, the amount of hair I hoovered up was mental, you'd go to bed and it would all be ok and then in the morning it would be drifting around like tumbleweed:|
