THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

As requested, a place for us to ask for help and advice from other stitchers and to show the things we make.
Over to you.:-D

THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I did some baking.  Hubby had to have two pieces before he decided whether he liked it or not.:|

I bought him a couple of pairs of jeans for his birthday a couple of weeks ago.  Like the good little wife I am I took them up first ('cos he's a short harris) and I'd done them too short!:_|  He didn't mind, he'd wear them half way between his knees and his ankles, but they looked ridiculous.  He says it stops them trailing in the mud, but they really were too short.  Luckily I found the pieces that I'd cut off, I thought I'd binned them, so I'm going to sew them in again!:^O  (They're only work jeans)

You'll be proud of me Maggie, I did them on the overlocker and I'm going to put them back in with it too.:-D  The fact that it's still got the original white cotton threaded on it and the jeans are blue, doesn't matter a jot!:^O

I think sombreros might be cheaper there! Anyway if I already had one it probably wouldn't fit! (definately on a downer about this)

Morning

Not been around much as amazingly Mum was discharged on Friday, so I have spent most of my time with her.

She is pretty well considering, although we had a slight scare yesterday when her neck started to swell. Luckily it didn't get worse and wasn't an infection, but I spent all day monitoring.

We have to wait until 4th October for results to find out if she needs further treatment.

morning!

i would have thought swelling is common after any kind of procedure, it IS trauma to the body, and the body has to react, so i hope she is feeling much more comfortable today:-D
