It was the Queen Mother's birthday as well, well when she was alive! I was 2 weeks overdue & my Mum said 'the 4th would be good, the Queen Mother has always been lucky in life & not wanted for anything'. Mum- I don't suppose that had more to do with her being married to a king than her date of birth? ?:|

Very warm and humid here too.  It didn't stop raining once yesterday, although it was only heavy drizzle.

The painter is back, I hope he finishes today.  He left one of  the side gates open this morning and I found Lottie out the front!X-(
