There was a doctor on TV just now.  He said your waist measurement should be no more than half your height.  Is it MY fault I'm two foot short???  I don't think so!!

Good morning everyone

Morning all.  I've got loads to catch up on I see.  We had a lovely day out yesterday but when we got back home, my internet connection was down and it's still not back.  I've had to come to the library to get online.  Unfortunately, we are with Sky and we've been without a landline since the begining of last week.  At the begining of this week the idiots people at live help at Sky said that they would sort the problem out and then get back to me on my mobile with updates.  As they hadn't got back to me by Tuesday afternoon, I got in touch with them again and I was told that the problem was with the exchange and they would sort it from there.  Needless to say, BT engineers called yesterday whilst we were out asking where we where.  I explained to them what Sky had said and they got someone at the office at BT to ring me back.  They are coming this afternoon to sort the problem out hopefully.  I would have asked them to come this morning if I had known that my internet connection was down but as my laptop and internet connection where at home and I was in the Lake District, I didn't know I had a problem until 6pm last night.  Grrrrrrrrrrr.  Hopefully, by tonight I will have my internet back at home.

Another warm one so doing everything slowly today.

Got some bargains in the CS yesterday, and found out that some M & S vouchers I thought were out of date, in fact weren't, so I have £67 to spend and no idea what to buy

BTW - 38 degrees in my conservatory, with all the doors and windows open, and 25 degrees in my Sitting Room with the fan on

Phew its another scorchio day , im feeling a bit better today so , still have to see the dr agian on monday though .

Its too hot to do anything but sew   , i did some patchwork yesterday so may try to add a bit of border but i need some red fabric 

Just booked to have my hair done on Sat & choose an early time as its far to hot to sit in there !

I have the same problem Merc.

Finally got my internet connection back.  I've still got to catch up on what I've missed which I will do shortly.  I've been like a bear with a sore head.  I had visions of camping out at the library so that I could use the internet there. 

It's absolutely boiling here and I have to **bleep** round to the post office which I will do in a moment.
