Thank you girls, sorry for being a bit of a Shirley show off - but I am pleased with all my hard work. My sofas were £80. My beds and all the white goods are new.

Both CB - in this community people do let to the golfers, usually by word of mouth. The 'big' hotel is way too expensive for ordinary mortals.
In the end, my son, brother, Dad and Myeloma UK will all benefit.

It looks great Rainy. My house needs a makeover. The outside painting starts next Tuesday, if OH stops bleating on about wanting it cream!

CB, have you seen the Daily Express today where it said that cow's were having the horns cut off so that walkers would be safe. This is under 'elf and safety!! They are also trying to breed cows without horns. Whatever next.

They take them off goats.my Sister has 600 of the little darlings and they but you as soon as look at you. They smell really bad too!

Mr S now has another week off work so just when I don't want him under my feet he's gonna be here supervising my every move :_|
Think I might escape to rainy's getaway and leave them all to it :^O

Yes CB 'speshul' rates :^O
Thanks Huggles - what colour is yours at the mo? Loathe outside painting.
Leave the bloomin' cows alone!!!!! Shouldn't interfere with nature.

Couldn't agree more RDW. House is looking lovely.

It's white but it has absolutely no character. I want to do it grey. Dulux do one that you have mixed that is a blue/grey and then the window frames would stand out. It's a white blob at the moment.

Oh dear, see I really like grey - our Kiwi (wooden) house was painted a light grey with darker grey gloss windows, really nice, WE did it, me pregnant. Will I ever learn? LOL. Took us a week - was like painting a very large elephant.
My kitchen is painted a soft grey from T**co and I love it. Magnolia everywhere else. Can't be articled any more.
Anytime Stan, anytime.:-)
