Ooh sorry about your dog:-(

We eat all that starter between four and our guests had seconds of stroganoff. I will cook properly next time because i spent £197 at Sainsburys which was all for last night except for a joint of pork, four duck breasts and deodorant.

I assume my dinner invite went amiss in the post ]:)  It all looks and sounds lovely.  Can you tell what this is ladies?

That's right it's a bath.  I defied all the rules yesterday and spent a very happy 3 hours (in spurts) in my front garden and oh it was smashing, loved it.  Haven't had a bath in years, but last night I swear there wasn't an inch of me that didn't hurt.  Walking like old mother reilly today, hobbling along 😛  Was worth it though, I really miss my garden.

So sorry waspy to hear about your little dog 😞

Glad you're coping Von, enjoy your lunch.

Waggy Tails is a wonderful Rescue Waspy.:-) So sorry to hear she is gone but she didn't suffer.:-x

Glad you enjoyed your bath Carol. I get like that when I have been gardening but can't get myself out of the bath as I can't kneel so I make do with a nice hot shower.:-D

Have a good lunch Von.:-)

Afternoon all.

Sorry to hear about your dog Waspy.  It's very sad.  :_|

That food looks delicious Huggles.  Can I be invited to the next one please?  I'll definitely help with the clearing and I'm good at washing dishes.

I've not had a bath in years either.  We don't have a bathroom but we do have a shower room.  Normally, I have a shower and wash my hair after I've had my swim in a morning.

I've just spent about an hour changing the curtains and duvet cover in my bedroom and I'm shattered.

Mum's feeling a little bit better today.  She's just made me lovely cup of coffee and she cooked the lunch as well.  Oh she is a good mummy.:-x

Waspy so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved dog 😞

Chris I hope that awful pain stops for your poor Mum soon. Did you both get to bed early and get some good sleep?? How sweet of Mum to cook lunch today, she sounds such a nice person, well you both do Chris :-x

I've got to change my bedding too, it has me completely knocked out afterwards!!

Stan well done on the do yesterday and the money you raised, well done to all :-x

Huggles that food looks very delicious indeed, I hope you all enjoyed your meal 😄

RDW glad you spent some time in the garden. I used to love baths too, but nowadays I normally just nip in the shower, nothing like a good soak though after a good days work 😄

PCC so glad that you're doing okay hun :-x

We've got a nice bright and sunny day here, but there is a chill in the air, so no sitting out for me 😞

Love and hugs to all :-x

Aww thanks Mandy.  We normally take it in turns to do the cooking but if mum doesn't feel up to it then I'll do it.  She seems to be a lot perkier now.  She's just taken some more painkillers which she was due to at around 1.30 to 2pm so I'm hoping that it feels a bit better.  Yesterday, her face was swollen a bit but it doesn't seem too bad today.  We'll see what happens when she rings the dentist tomorrow.

Changing my bedding Mandy is a work of art as my bedroom is only small and I have to keep moving the bed to change the sheets.  I'm absolutely shattered when I've finished.

The weather here is cloudy, windy and cold at the moment and it feels like it's going to rain.  There'll be no sitting out here either.

Hugs and kisses to everyone.

Chris I hope the pain killers help Mum and hopefully the dentist can help some more tomorrow.

I have to move very quickly when it comes to making the bed Chris..............I have to dodge the cats!....they claim the bed during the day, so I have to wait for when they move, then do it quickly 😄

Just seen the forecast on BBC......during the week isn't looking too good, but then not too bad either, low temperatures, cold at night, but we will get to see some sunshine 😄

It's probably just me but I can't bear the thought of cats & dogs on beds. 😞 They should sleep in their own beds....we don't sleep in theirs! :^O 😉

Until we moved into a bungalow our dogs weren't even allowed upstairs never mind on the beds.  Lottie's allowed in the bedrooms during the day but not at night, and can't climb on the beds or the furniture.  None of our dogs have ever been allowed on the furniture.:-)
