Good morning all. I actually managed to have a long lie-in, only just got up! Something which is usually unheard of in this household.
PCC, sorry to hear you are feeling so out of sorts, as others have said, a visit to the Doctor could be in order, maybe just some temporary measures. Don't know what else to advise, but, ((((( PCC ))))) have a big hug x

Morning
Off for three days, and have loads to do. House and garden both need attention.
PCC, best advice I can give is to focus on all the positives and try to block out the negatives. Your panic attacks are almost certainly triggered by being alone. Are you up to taking yourself out to shop / have a coffee / go for a walk?
Make a alist of simple things you want to achieve today. Even simple things like showering, dressing, washing up, and tick them off as you do them. Look at the list and see how much you have achieved and hopefully you will feel a little better.
Panic attacks are horrible and frightening and debilitating, so if they continue, please see the Doctor for help :-x

If you don't have any pets to look after and the house can be left, why not treat youself to a little holiday in a local B&B? Or even a hotel? It's off-season, I think, as the kids are still at school.

Sorry that your having panic attacks PCC. I'm lucky enough not to have suffered from them but they must be awful. Why don't you take Merc up on her offer? Very kind of you that Merc.
Mowed the lawn this afternoon after managing to do some housework. I'm absolutely shattered at the moment. Hopefully, I'll sleep well tonight.

I Had a lovely day out with my friend. We went to West Bay (Broadchurch) for lunch. Very foggy on the way but not bad when we got there. Then I fell over! I am really going to feel it tomorrow.:-(

24-04-2013 4:11 PM

24-04-2013 4:11 PM
Oh Maggie 😞
Glad you had a lovely day but sorry it was spoilt by falling, I hope your ok ...... I fell badly about a week ago, i'm still not sure how 😐 but my knees swelled up like footballs & are still painful now 😞
Isn't it sooooo embarrassing to fall in public :_|
24-04-2013 4:15 PM
Last time I fell (yes & do make a habit of it) I went down on my knees & they still play me up! This time my friend grabbed me & I went more sideways onto my hip. My side hurts on the side she pulled me but it's better than hurting my knees again. The paper shop had Broadchurch posters in the window. It was a bit surreal! lol

Sorry to hear/read about people falling and hurting themselves. The best part of 30 years ago, I fell and broke my ankle in three places. About 10 years later, I ended up having that ankle removed and had my foot fused to my leg. A few months later, the fusion came undone and I ended up spending 6 hours in surgery whilst I had bone taken from the right side of my pelvis and it was grafted into my ankle. The graft was held in place by two screws. To this day, I still have the graft and screws. Buying shoes is a nightmare as I can't wear shoes with heels and also, I can't wear flatties either. When I'm buying shoes, nobody will come with me 'cos things are that bad.

Oh Chris...that sounds awful...poor you 😞
pcc...you have an enflop ^^^^
24-04-2013 6:00 PM
Merc, the said ankle is playing up a bit now but I was told a while back that the screws made need replacing ten years after they were put in and it is now 18 years since I had the bone graft done so I've not done too badly. I'll plod on as long as possible with it. Due to my mum's health problems, me being ill or needing more surgery is not an option.
