Love the photo of the bridge Von, thanks 🙂 Paris does take a lot of walking and, with your COPD, obviously the Metro is out, but I adore the city. Can never decide between Paris or Barcelona as my favourite, mind you Barca has Gaudi and, your least favourite thing - football!
The train's good isn't it? I feel like just taking off for Paris and mooching around for a few days.

As for the coo Eiffel tower CB its only one of the may bizarre items that can be bought in Paris ;-):^O

Von I know you know France but have you been to Avignon? I love it and thereabouts. Or Biarritz and the Basque country in the South West- it's beautiful and their cuisine is to die for.
Off down the road to hang curtains - again - almost finished, thank G.

PCC what a lovely picture, wow all those padlocks, very romantic though 😄 I hope you had a wonderful time, it sounds like you did and that's all that matters :-x
Not been around much today as I've spent the day knitting and just unwinding and it's been nice 😄
This is the dolls dress that I've just finished tonight. Loved the knitting...........but I hate the sewing oh so much 😐 me and sewing just do not go hand in hand at all 😐
This dress is part of a complete layette so I've still got lots more to do, but I'm loving it 😄

Pretty dress moosie it looks like a lot of work , seems that most knitters on here dont like the sewing up bit 😄

Lovely work Mandy, I like knitting lacy baby things. I have one ready CK - knitted it ages ago - may be too small for Imogen. Shall I measure?
Curtains up - linings too long - on both - think once I am done here will give up on the curtain making for a while :^O Stooopid woman.
Bordeaux is lovely too pcc - I used to fly to there when OH worked in France. My flamin' passport is out of date - says it all really 😞
Where is baby Imogen tonight Nanna?
Merc - yhm in a min.

RDW.... I find buying ready made curtains much easier 😛
Imogen is having a bath right now ......... can you not hear her screaming :^O ........... its strange really because she usually loves them but maybe its because just because its later than normal as they have had friends round 😐
I'm not sure what size she is but is just starting to outgrow her up to 8ld size clothes 🙂
I started to knit a lacy matinee coat for her but I never got more than 10 rows into it before having to pull it out ....... after the 5th time I gave up :_|
I may have another try soon if I have enough wool for a larger size 😐

CK maybe you should start something in a 6-12 month range at the rate your little one is growing ;-):^O
RDW for the best footy experience ever try FC Porto, we went to watch a match while on holiday in Portugal (years ago I grant you ).
Mr S was horrified when I presented him with match tickets and home club shirts but we met the most wonderful bunch of locals who went on to show us the celebrations and night life afterwards .......................wow what a evening that was something I don't think I'll ever experience again:-D
20-04-2013 12:29 AM
I had to knit her a few tiny cardie's quickly as she was so tiny none her others fit her :^O
I never planned on knitting her any clothes at all (I don't normally do clothes :|) as her great Nan was suposedly knitting for her from the minute she knew she was expected ............. I'm not sure what happened too the huge pile she was supposed to have made as none of them ever arrived here :^O ............. me thinks her Mummy talks a lot of Cr*p 😉
20-04-2013 12:35 AM
Good job she has you on hand then CK 😉
how are things on the "western front" or should I just look out for the woman with the red and swollen tongue from all the biting on it :^O
20-04-2013 12:42 AM
I'm still biting Stan ......... I'm still biting 😞
20-04-2013 12:44 AM
CK :-x
20-04-2013 12:46 AM
Would you believe I've never even taken her out for a walk yet 😞
20-04-2013 12:50 AM
Sounds like Mum is being way too over protective/clingy at the moment but as I learnt to my cost with my first it can very rapidly turn round and bite you on the arris especially when you push the ones away that you will need to turn to first IYKWIM 😉
