Nighty night loon and good morning to everyone else.
Has the reality that the holiday is over hit home yet huggles,it's the loads of washing when you get back that I hate and not just your own clothes but also the mountain that seems to have been accumulated by the kids
Hope twishy and swishy are OK as haven't seen her post so much lately and where on earth has gina.p disappeared to.
Actually thinking about it there a quite a few absentees on the board as of late.

All unpacked and everything washed. I don't do the boys washing! They'd wear everything they owned in one day!

For those who dont know about it ... ..
Its the Lovers Bridge over the Seine (close to Notre Dame) - you attach a padlock with a note declaring your love & throw the key into the Seine .
The railings on both sides of the bridge are covered its very romantic :-x

until you fall out........:^O
19-04-2013 2:44 PM
Oh how nice.:-x But what do you do when you fall out? I guess that's why padlocks come with two keys, one to throw in the river and one to keep, just in case!:^O
I bet that fence is carrying some weight!
Glad you enjoyed it pcc.

Afternoon all. Glad that you had a good time in Paris PCC. I went to Paris with the school when I was about 14. As I have had quite a lot of sleeps since then, I can't really remember much about it.

The train journey was good . I had already booked assistance for my arrival at Kings Cross & was met by a very helpful man with a wheelchair to take me across to the Eurostar at St Pancras . All the platforms are very very long & no way would i have been able to walk that far alone .
Paris was beautiful & weather was very warm most days , dont think i could do it again as i was struggling a lot walking around the sights but at least ive seen it now .
Chris , loads of school trips were there , including an Australian school choir who entertained us while queuing to go up the Eiffel Tower 😄

It sounds fabulous pcc. Did you go alone???:O
19-04-2013 6:28 PM
No CG i had to take hubby with me to carry the cases :^O
19-04-2013 6:32 PM
Oh!:^O I don't know why I suddenly thought you went alone. I couldn't even go to Felixstowe alone, I'd probably get lost anyway!!!:^O

19-04-2013 8:09 PM
:^O:^O Lol, an Eiffel cow ......... I love it
Huggles did you really not take any knitting 😮 .... its always one of the first things I pack ....... at the end of the day I like to have a shower & then sit on the balcony knitting for awhile (with a little drinky ;-)) & watch the sun go down before going out for dinner 🙂

Capt.! You can't expect huggles to send us a postcard if she didn't see any. I expect she'll post our presents when she's unpacked her bags. They'll be cheaper to post from England.:-)
