Thanks RDW, I'm having to look for 4ft ones as its only a tiny room ....... there like hens teeth & more expensive than a normal double 😮

I managed to find one in stock in town & it was cheap but uncomfortable 😞 have just heard that someone has a 18mth old memoryfoam one in our auction room this weekend but we'll be away visiting MIL again so I might send someone down to check it out .......... I've never ever been in one & wouldn't have a clue what to do if I went :^O

I'm back and I finished it! The seams wouldn't stand up to scrutiny but our dirty washing basket is now lined! Threaded the elastic and everything in an hour! 🙂

It's not that photogenic! Hang on I can't work out how to put photos on here from this. Ignore the fabric, it was just a cheap remnant!

There you go. Does the job. There was a plastic lining but it broke up over time and I was worried things might snag on the wicker. Took a lot of material as it's a big bin, that's why I bought a remnant! Now I could do another one with prettier fabric but i think I'll try something smaller next. It was a bit cumbersome!

Ah thank you all! I know it's a bit basic but I really enjoyed doing it! What should I try next? Maybe an apron? The ones I have never have long enough ties to round and back to the front.

Cross post Maggie! I think I need to try using a pattern. This was 'out' by about 2cm by the last seam so I don't think my cutting is good. I did a couple of mini pleats! :^O
