Lolly came back last night with a bag full of washing

i knew what you meant :^O

its not hot sunny, its bright windy sunny

so i can cope with that, great for my oodles of washing

there is the difference between our 2 girls

lolly went monday (arrived at 9pm) came back last night

took a travel bag and her backpack thingy, both bulging

kirsty takes a bag exactly the same on a 10 roadtrip and can fit her jacke, workstufft etc in it as well

kirsty is very low maintainance

Lolly on the other hand.....

i dont know where she gets it from :^O

OH thinks its just an old bag I've taken out of the cupboard to sort through :-):8}

I daren't look at any wool sites! :_| Black Sheep keep tempting me on Facebook! I need to knit! Both things I'm doing at the moment are made up and need edges knitting etc & it's been too blinkin hot to have them on my knee. Perhaps I should start something new. 😐

Acualy I really do need to sort out space ............... big space .... lots of space  😮

its still very very early days & things can/may change but after long talks ..... we may have lodgers in 6/7mths time :O:-x

I get up one day & decide to knit something else that day ........... hence lots of unfinshed bits & pieces, some of which I forget what they are or forget to save the right wool to finish it 😐

Is it the weather Von? It's 27deg here at the moment. I love it as long as I don't have to walk about too much! The children are enjoying the sun but it's due to vanish on Sunday I think. Sham as they are off camping on Monday for a few days.

Evening ladies

I am officially on holiday (well apart from the pub of course)

Actually going to the zoo on monday to see my adopted "geoffrey" so hoping the weather holds till then.

Anyone got plans for the weekend ????

We will be watching the olympics for most of it I expect ,actually quite looking forwrd to the opening ceremony tonight.

I shall be watching it too with a glass of wine.:-) We have spent the afternoon on the little beach in the sweltering heat! The kids swam & I paddled. lol

Watching the Olympic opening tonight (& recording it for hubby as he's at work), lengthing some voile curtains with rinbon/lace trim 10 x 66'', 2 done, 8 to go) tomorrow & off to the Olympic football at Wembley on sunday.

We're watching it and have friends coming round. I'm really excited about the opening ceremony, not so enchanted with the prospect of OH being glued to the TV for 17 days! I suspect that room will be cleared out and moved into! I'd do before and after pics but I'm embarrassed to show the before!

I've been working and recovering from working 😉

In the meantime I've just finished my 12 th preemie jacket and 4 hats 🙂

Have been to Kemps Wool Shop today and bagged some great bargains - like 500g of yarn for £1 :O:O:O

Will keep me busy for a while!

it's not been hot here, except for a couple of hours this afternoon it looks a bit cloudy now and it's forecast rain tomorrow.:-(

Once I get this decorating out of the way I think I'll join in with the knitting, even if it's only straight and a kitty blankie:-) it all counts in the scheme of things.

I think the whole FHG thread has been quiet lately, couldn't be because a certain person is missing by any chance????:-D
