They look like the sort of thing hubby likes merlin, mind you, if it's sweet, he likes it.  I was going to give captainbovines cupcakes a try this week, so I guess I'll be doing those flapjacks too. I was making a bread and butter pudding when you mentioned them and that gave me an idea.  I put a jar of mincemeat in it as well as the fruit.  He hasn't tried it yet, but I'll let you know what he thinks.

wet here too

and dark for a change:^O

tis rubbish when they cant get out during the holidays

we had a big shed when they were young

and another almost the same but with windows for them

we put bench seats in it and they would go out there

somedays there would be 12 of them in there,

never any bother and a few pizzas in the oven and they were happy

remembers the days of watching dvds over and over again though

thats why we have so many tvs, so they could alll watch what they wanted to and i didnt!

Morning

Wet here 😞

Good news - plastercast is gone 🙂 Replaced by a removeable moonboot for the next 6 weeks. Leg needs lots of physio to get the movement and strength back. Had a chat with the physio yesterday and they say recovery is 6 months from date of accident - so I should be back to 'normal' by March!

Short term goal is walking wearing normal shoes and without crutches by Christmas!

Yes I have a tan. 🙂 Unfortunately I also have a husband with concussion. :_| He bent down to put rubbish in the bin at the hotel & cracked his head on the towel rail. Two cuts on forehead. Then when we boarded the plane the man ahead on the steps swung his bag over his shoulder & hit poor OH on the forehead again! Different place, more blood!

He's been sick all night & looks like he's been in a car crash. :_| I'm leaving him in bed & going to work. Big son is home to check up on him. Doctor? No of course he won't!

Morning ladies.:-D  Rain overnight but dry now, just dull.  The wind has died down and it's still mild.

Welcome back huggles, glad you had a good time, your poor hubby has been going through the wars recently hasn't he?:-(

Hippy, the friend with the leg, he took his moonboot off for the last three weeks and started to use the foot/leg gently.  When he went back after the full six weeks he didn't need physio at all because he'd excersised it while walking on it.

Was that everybody?  I can't remember now!X-(

Oh poor MrHuggles - one head bump is bad but two 😞

Merlin - oh yes, leg hair does grow 😉 Very satisfying to remove it carefully when I had my bath 🙂

CG - boot is to be worn till I've started physio and they'll then direct how much wearing I do. Hopefully I'll be able to walk without it soon but not taking any chances.

That bath was just blissful - could have spent all day in there 🙂

poor Mr Huggles

have to say, i would be taking this as an ideal opportunity to get the doctor into to see him

wont do any harm to have a good once over, and you can use this as a perfect excuse

you could have a wee word with the doctor when he gets there before he sees him
