:^O
but its lovely
i open the door and stand there ironing
the world is silent
and the sun comes up
totally different to doing it during the day
its nice
and as you can see from Huggles, its catching!]:)
07-10-2011 8:35 AM
well there's no chance of me catching it:| I take supplements to ward off such a disasterB-)

I've been inokilated too.....got the iron shaped scar to prove it 😉
I wanted the combi-vacc agaist all housework but they ran out of supplies.....
occasionally I succumb but thank fully recovery is speedy and the bouts are getting further apart as I get older 😐
07-10-2011 8:46 AM
sometimes i wish i could relax a bit more, mentally i mean
if something needs doing, i do it there and then
sitting thinking about it is way worse than getting it out of the way
you know its got to be done, and you need to do it, so putting it off just makes it worse, well for me anyway
07-10-2011 8:50 AM
but I don't even think about it........
I'm bad aren't I :_|
'put off till tomorrow what you can't face today, cos by tomorrow it might have gone away' :^O

has washed and bleached baffroom to within an inch of it's life after being shamed inspired by Huggles and Merlin 😐
*goes to lie down till this feeling wears off*

My sister is coming to stay for a night on Tuesday & no-one has slept in the spare room since New Years Eve so that'll be another bathroom to do plus an airing & move the furniture hoover & dust. I clean that bathroom as soon as anyone goes, no-one uses it & it's still thick with dust so I have to do it again before anyone stays.
What are you shamed into doing now? ]:)
07-10-2011 11:16 AM
la la la laaaaa....I can't hear you Huggles........
*closes curtains so the sun doesn't show up the dust*
B-)

Sun? What sun? I have dusted the mantle piece. That's enough for now! :^O
07-10-2011 12:29 PM
Dust? What dust? I can only see dust when I wear my glasses. I only wear my glasses for sewing/knitting and reading.:|

**sprinkles dust on chickengrandmas glasses**:^O
07-10-2011 12:54 PM
AH HA!
gotcha!.....so it's you wot makes the dust settle Merlin X-(
just cos you like removing it doesn't mean you don't have to spread it about...:|
*sends back all the dust in Swishy Houshold....books second lorry for upstairs dust* :^O

dustX-(
this seems a very dusty house
dunno why
07-10-2011 1:44 PM
My last house was very dusty, this one isn't. The other one was much nearer the road. I've found that my house gets much dustier when I stand and iron at the open door while watching the sun rise.B-)

I have a knitting problem. My name is Huggles & I'm addicted to buying wool & starting things. B-)
No, not THAT problem! 😐 I have (don't faint) FINISHED knitting my first garment. 😄
Started to sew it up last night & realise that although the wool is gorgeous it's cr*p to sew with! :_| It just gets longer, un-wools & breaks. X-( So, do I get some other wool in the sameish colour, use tapestry thread, or something else.
If someone answers 'something else' without giving a detailed answer of what I shall no longer be their friend. 😐 Yes, I know that's what I would do. 😐
If anyone could tell me what to do in the next 30 mins I could catch the wool/craft shop on my way home.
Also, I'm wimping out on buttonholes. 😐 I'm going to use bug poppers & sew the buttons on the front like Per Una do. Is this a good idea. Can't be arsed to learn something else yet. I've spent so much time on youtube watching knitting demos that OH thinks I have a porn problem.

Bug poppers should of course been BIG poppers but I'm liking bug poppers now.
Sorry if I used rude words in my last post. 😐
